6月12日船橋アリーナで体育祭が行われました。

本年度の体育祭のスローガンは「繋げ 想い! 掴め 青春! 」

生徒は、前年度の内容を先輩から引き継ぎつつ、自分たちらしさを前面に押し出す最高の体育祭を目標に、実行委員会を中心に議論し、準備してきました。

スムーズな運営を取り仕切る競技部門と用具部門の連携、場内を盛り上げる放送部門など、組織づくりについても昨年度の内容を引き継ぎつつ、さらにブラッシュアップするための協議を重ね、整備し、生徒たちの主体性が発揮された体育祭となりました。

白熱した競技を経て、今年は桜組(赤組)が見事優勝となりました。

生徒たちは結果に一喜一憂したものの、体育祭をやり切った充実感に満ちていました。

この経験を活かし、次の代となる生徒が、「今年以上」の体育祭を実施してくれることを期待しています。

It’s that time of the year again. Kaichi held its annual sporting event. Everyone from students to teachers to parents and family were excited and anxious to participate and watch three teams compete for the ultimate championship. The weather was nice and the arena wasn’t too hot. Everything was all set to go. The kids could enjoy tug-of-war, relay races, pillow fights, bean bag basketball, Big ball relay and more. Only one group could win, so everyone gave it their all. It was enjoyable till the end. The students were tired and the smiles said it all. You can’t help but have warm feelings for this type of event which brings everyone together and puts smiles on faces. Until next year, all that excitement will have to wait.
